With a "to-die-for" view from the rooftop lounge and a mod, colorful space downstairs, this "hip" Dupont Circle hotel bar "scores big" with "young professionals" grabbing a "happy-hour drink after a long work day"; the "fantastic service" and upbeat atmosphere help make the "expensive" tabs easier to bear.

Awesome burger and cheap mimosas

Made brunch reservations here. We ended up getting the burger. Not a lot of selection on the menu but the burger was pretty dang good!! And the fries were super crispy. We got $4 poinsetta mimosas and they were delish too! Pleasant surprise.

Happy hour - good and bad

We chose Beacon because of the sky bar. It was pretty busy up there, but not too crazy that we couldn’t find seats. There was a DJ and it seemed like a great place...except it’s not really happy hour if you can’t get a drink....

Pork - overcooked. Burgers - overcooked. We asked for extra pitas with our appy dips; they brought them with the main course (after the dips had been cleared) and charged us $2.00! The fries were good and the pasta was tolerable. I would not return.
