Colonial Williamsburg is meticulously restored to colonial times. You can visit several houses and the capitol. There are reenactments of events that take place during the day.

We took the kids here for spring break and had a fantastic time. We all enjoyed the living history and actively engaged and took part in all the demonstrations and tours. The kids were really into it and it was nice to see them engaged...

I wish we had had more time here. If you are a history buff you could spend days in the museum part of the site. On the fun side is walking through the living demonstrations and kids will do ok (if over 4 or 5)...
