A local employee once recommended this place, so today I went out of my travel route to visit for lunch, and ordered dinner combo (chicken + BBQ) that was an average. First of all nc vinegar based BBQ sauce isn't for me. So it is a bit unfair to put that on this resteraunt. Friendly staff good meal portion for the price. Building could use some work.

We are from California. We knew we wanted authentic BBQ since that is what North Carolina is known for. Well we found it! Yummers. We liked the mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and hush puppies the best, but everything was good. It's not fancy, but perfect for families. Definitely worth trying.
