I go there almost every night the food its great i don't know why people keep saying its bad they're are people there every night loving the food. great staff nice, huge wine list too. trust me i know. let me get to the point here it may be a a tinny bit pricey but its TOTALLY worth it thats all i wanted to say :) :)

Interesting food, nice folks

We went first at Thanksgiving after seeing something about this place on TV. Great meal with many unusual additions. Since then we have gone 4 times in 2008 and had a very good experience each time. The last time we went at the last minute after they had stopped serving and they made some truely great hamburgers for us.
The value is good, the folks are friendly, the prices are reasonable for MV. The house red is delicious.
Good bar, big TV sets, rock & roll themes. Try it.

Inattentive and rude service

I?ve never written a review before, but wanted to write about my negative experience at Balance. The food was terrible and the staff was inattentive and outright rude. Furthermore, the prices are expensive. I want to spare everyone of the mistake we made by dining there, do yourself a favor and skip Balance Restaurant.

I would never recommend anyone to go to Balance, unless maybe you are a MV local as they seem to cater to locals. I went there with a group of friends for drinks one night and the staff was very rude to all of us. It took forever to get a drink and there were maybe 20, if that, customers in the bar. The music was horrible to top it all off. There are many fun places to go in the vineyard with very nice people, but this is not one of them!

Dinner is served at Balance Restaurant Tuesday through Saturday between 6 and 10pm; the bar menu is available until midnight. A selection of seafood, steak and chicken is on the menu.
