Our Mission
This bakery/cafe is operated by Ability2Work that supports the "Differently-abled". They have a wonderful bakery and good cafe. We enjoyed an excellent closed Reuben sandwich followed by a nice creamy Tiramisu. This is a very casual place, friendly staff and good food. Baker's Treat is a non-profit cafe and bakery operated to train and employ the differently-abled members of our community.
Owner Nancy Baron donates 100 percent of her profits to programs for women in early recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. Two super salads: the bowtie pasta salad with olives, tomatoes, peppers and a dusting of cheese, and the Mediterranean tuna nicoise. Standout desserts: the trail mix cookie and the raspberry oat square.
