Complicated Booking experience

Very complicated booking system. After you 'book' in hotels.com or any other website, you still are required to send a survey with your personal info, your credit card number and other data via fax, mail or email to the 'administrator' of the hotel. For some reason... it took about 7 phone calls in the lapse or 2 days from them to finish 'my booking'.... too complicated , I felt!
