Baci Italiano Ristorante to open up in Peninsula Town Center. Baci the name means "kisses" in Italian will be owned and operated by the Bertuglia family, which also operates Tuscany and Fiorello in Newport News. The family has been in the restaurant business in Sicily and the United States for more than 45 years.
The food was great evidently the rent was more than they could afford it's now a Sushi place, the restaurant was huge I cannot see how a sushi restaurant could use all that space

The host was a complete pompous asshole so who cares what the food tastes like. Won't get a dollar from me ever.
Everything about this place was terrible. For starters, the limited Valentine's Day menu, which was not noted on the specials section, or anywhere else on their website. I am allergic to shell fish, and politely requested a regular menu because all but a very few things on the set menu were shell fish dishes. Our server refused. She also walked...
