Construction dept. knows us as ""Oh, that job."" after what Bill Embley/Byram/Allstar put us through. We got Bill off the job and finished it ourselves. Should have avoided the stress and done that from day 1.

Bill Embley doesn't pay his subcontractors

I subcontracted for Bill Embley/Byram construction for about six months. I'm used to working with reputable and upstanding contractors and usually don't have an issue extending credit to them. Needless to say Bill Embley took advantage of that and conviently ""went bankrupt"" while he owed me the final payout for the last job I did with him. The people I feel bad for are his customers who have to deal with a mechanics lein on their home. Google it. You will think twice about hiring Byram.

I thought the cheapest might turn out ok, boy was I wrong. Bill Embley is great at telling you what you want to hear, regardless of the truth. Cut corners, cheapest possible materials when they finally showed up, and don't bother even setting a schedule cause it won't happen. The only positive part of my experience were his employees, very polite. Recommend them? No way.

I recently worked with Bill Embley and Byram Construction Co LLC to work on a home renovation/addition and they did a great job. The work that they did on my renovation was second to none and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I had a very good experience with Byram Construction Co. They recently worked on a home addition/renovation and they did an excellent job. Bill Embley was nice to work with and the job they did was great. I would recommend this contractor to my friends and family.
