Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Chef Frederik De Pue’s Euro-accented American bistro and market – his latest transformation of the former Cafe Atlantico space in Penn Quarter – provides a sophisticated, lounge-like backdrop for an informal drink and a bite upstairs, while downstairs you can shop for prepared meals, produce, bread and more. A six-seat chef’s counter offering a daily prix fixe menu is also planned.

Assisted by Chef de Cuisine Robert Rubba, Chef de Pue offers quality seafood from sustainable purveyors.

A six seat raw bar on...

Frederik de Pue’s Penn Quarter seafood sophisticate transforms the former Café Atlantico three-story Penn Quarter space with tasteful marine accents (an aqua palette, light fixtures that simulate sea foam bubbling from the ceiling, nautical-style mirrors) and a showcase raw bar; expect beautifully composed dishes with uber-fresh, ever-changing finfare, plus vegetarian and meaty selections in...
