Great food and really nice staff! The ambiance is interesting, over half the space is the restaurant the other portion is a market. I had the stuffed grape leaves, a salad with a very tasty house dressing and Shawama( a lamb and vegtable medley). They were all great.

Great greek food, that's about all there is to it! They have a shop in which you can buy hookahs and other greek-like things as well!

this place does Mediterranean food the best--and the small market provides lots of unique stuff that can only be found here--and I love Colley Ave. places--the very best of Norfolk

First let me say that I have always enjoyed my meals at Azar's. It is just that sometimes I've enjoyed it more than others, and the difference is the service. It has never been bad, but it is seldom excellent.
Hard to give them an 'excellent' for service when (during lunchtime) you order at the counter, pick up your own...
