Having never been through the process of buying a car, the mere thought of it made me miserable just from all of the horror stories I have heard. Thank God I ended up down at Ayer Auto on Maple Avenue in Barre. The owner, David, was the perfect person to walk any first time car buyer through the process. He had a car that I was interested in but I didn't think I could afford it. I was upfront with him, and rather than just move on to the next customer he helped me get the car. He gave me advice on how to get a loan at the best rate possible, and he lowered the price to a point that I...
