I came off 20 bucks for their Sicilian pizza. As it turns out their "Sicilian" pizza is nothing more than a piece of Walmart bakery like bread topped with sauce and cheese. .. absolutely awful. We went in the place at 1PM on a Sunday afternoon, ordered and ate there. We were the only customers in the place during the entire time we were their. They only had two people working in the place. Apparently they were not expecting a lunch rush. I took home the left overs and tried to eat them in the hopes of salvaging some value out of the money spent. I couldn't plow through the unpalatable cardboard pizza. I just fed it to the trash can. Do not waste your time and money this business! The sooner Atlas Pizza swirls down the bowl the better.
I ordered garlic knots, fried zucchini, and a pepperoni roll for pick up. This is definitely more of a pick up/delivery pizza place. There are a few tables to eat at but not exactly a dining room. All of the food was great. I really enjoyed the marinara dipping sauce. Fried zucchini was battered rather than breaded, but I still enjoyed it. My order was plenty of food for two people.
Ehhh. Not so much. I have to say I did not like this place. The sauce was canned ingredients mixed together. I had a Meatball Sub. It was warm but without any real taste. The meatballs are out of a box, the cheese is basic. The environment is very drab. Just basic and boring. Service is just Ok. I don't reccomend Atlas Pizza. I won't be be back.
Fantastic Food. We recently discovered Atlas and it's now our go-to restaurant for pizza and hoagies. The pizza is always perfectly cooked and the toppings are fresh. The crust is on the thin side- it's not thin pizza, but on the thinner side and probably more pleasing to those who like boardwalk-type pizza. And I can't believe it, but their hoagies are actually pretty good- not Philly or NY...
Great pizza, subs and wings. Very unassuming since it is a store-front restaurant, but don't let that fool you. Takes a bit of time for the food to get to the table, but great food shouldn't be rushed. Perfect for dining in, take out, and delivery. Have been eating there for years, and will continue to do so.
Pretty good pizza!. Growing up in NY for 39 years it's hard to eat pizza just anywhere...but I can deal with Atlas. They have a good thin and crispy crust. The sauce could use a little more flavor but that can be corrected with a little black pepper and some garlic. If you live in the area of Northern Suffolk it's one of the best places around...better than the place down the road near Food Lion.
