Astronomical Pancake House

We're back and we will be back again when in the area. A very busy restaurant, but great service and the best breakfast you can find. We had the Hungry Man's Breakfast that was enough for two, but we were glutinous and indulged. Wonderful!!!

The smaller restaurant, not the one by the train tracks...has POOR SLOW service.....it was not crowded whatsoever and it took us 35 min. to get our food....2 omelets, silver dollar pancakes, and 2 scrambled eggs....and a table that came in after us, was served well before us....and we had 2 small kids and missed a meeting we were supposed to attend....will never go back there...

We usually go to the one by the train tracks, but noticed there was another one closer to our hotel so we went to that one...BIG MISTAKE....the place is smaller but it was NOT crowed whatsoever when we got there....we were seated right away...after about 5 min. a waitress came over and took our drink …

Fabulous food (sausage links are out of this world, not the normal links) loved our waitress, waited a little longer than we should have for it to arrive.

After trying chocolate chip pancakes at another, nearby pancake house and being so extremely disappointed that I left 90% on my plate, the version from Astronomical restored my faith in what a great, chocolate chip pancake should be. Service was outstanding (Thanks, Vonda) and the food and coffee second to none. You are a fantastic!
