Ashworth By The Sea

You'll be surprised how contemporary this across-from-the-beach hotel feels, even though it's been around for a century. Most rooms have thier own decks, but request a beachside room for an ocean view; otherwise you'll look out onto the pool or street. The Sand Bar, on the roof deck between the two adjoining buildings, is a great place to watch the town's weekly fireworks displays.

The heart of this downtown hotel, across Ocean Boulevard from the beach, was built in 1912, but after a series of renovations, it has a more modern character.
