I came across the Ashley Furn. in Freehold NJ and found a set of endtables I have been looking for. I dealt with "Nick",signed the order,set up a delivery date and paid a deposit. The delivery was set 1 week off. I received a call from Ashley confirming delivery.a few hours later I received a call telling me I was going to be short 1 endtable. I had already donate my furniture to a shelter EXPECTING my compltete order. When I tried to call back to find out what the problem was,no one could answer.Tried to get the store on the phone & you just get a General answering service.I demanded to speak to the store.."Nick" said he will check into it and call me back.NEVER HEARD BACK. The truck just showed up in my driveway.When I asked where the other table was, NO ONE spoke English.The tables arrive unwrapped & covered in sometype of dust/grease. They were in & out of my house within 1 minute & did not even offer any help. I finally got a call back after several hours from "Michele" who said the other table had arrived damaged. I was promised deliver within 5 days and another delivery date was set up for Fri. I received a call at 7:30am on Thurs. morn. confirming the Friday delivery.By the time I got back from work on Thursday,the delivery was canceled. When we called back to find out why,seems the table never came in !No one could explain why they confirmed delivery when they did not have table ! 2 Weeks have passed,still no table no answer when it will come. WORSE STORE EVER !!

I went to the Woodbridge, NJ store and spoke to Peter. I explained I have been terminated from my job and no longer need the furniture. Instead of implementing the 25% cancellation fee and issuing my refund, he offered store credit FOR $2,300.00!!!!!! How can that resolve my issue if I am homeless? That is the only money I had in the world! I need my money back and I don't mind the cancellation fee! Please help get my refund!
