Just had two coats ripped off from the "coat check" - when we went to the front desk the woman said "oh yeah, we've been having problems with coat theft!"

A little pricey for such a small venue. Everything was laid out very well. Took us less than an hour to go through the museum.

In a town full of talented and diverse artists that you can see for free on one of the many studio strolls in the River Arts District, you would expect the art museum to be top-notch. Unfortunately there is NOTHING of substance to see. Admission is reasonable, but is still overpriced for what's on display here. Very disappointing.

Lovely, well curated gallery with a good mix of artworks. Very friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my visit here.

My family and I had a fantastic time exploring the museum on a rainy Saturday. I especially enjoyed the men's quilts. Very impressive and each one was uniquely fascinating!

This museum is the only visual arts facility in Western North Carolina. They offer exhibits through out the year. Public programs are available and are always changing.
