Love this little bit of heaven!! Soups are always great and pretzel rolls are fantastic!!! I have never had anything I did not like. One thing I love is there are always new things to try.

Friendly delightful staff, beautifully restored building, inviting atmosphere, fantastic affirdable interesting food, and delicious desserts. There is nothing here to not love or not be satisfied with!
Wonderful place, can't recommend it highly enough.
So enjoyable it should be illegal.

Been here twice and both times been disappointed in selection on its overly priced items that don't live up to what you would expect to get. Place is dirty and after two visits I will NEVER go back or recommend.

This was my second visit to Artisans. It is located in Olde Towne Portsmouth in one of the restored homes on Washington Street. It is lovely. Orders are taken at the counter, with seating on the porch, front room and an area in the back past the kitchen.

The breads are awesome. The desserts are classics and prepared just right. Daily sandwich specials and soup of the day insure that I will be back soon.
