Help us make it rightThe Hopewell Medical Center was originally opened in 1955. The office is one of two in our practice, the other being the Colonial Heights Medical Center. The office is staffed by three full time physicians with specialties including Family Practice and Internal Medicine. We also have three full time Nurse Practitioners that split their time between the two offices.
The staff changes over about the same rate as Burger King. If you pay for test, you will not get called with the results. they will not give you your prescriptions, they claim they have to call them in, BUT often they will not call them in. My friend had to go with out heart medication for days because they were too busy to call it down to the drug store. I had to go with out diabetic medications because they would not call it in. Some Drs are very elderly. one is referred to as dr but is really just a nurse. Something is just wrong down there. You have to pay, but you don't get results on nothing, xrays included... SAD SAD SAD

good luck getting prescriptions called in... If you are not too busy to make the appointment, show up on time...not too busy to pay for the visit... they should not be too busy to call in your prescription... you should not have to go back and forth down there begging to have them call in your medication.
