I've eaten at several different Applebee's around NE and have found them all to be about the same. One step up from going fast food, but certainly nothing to write home about. It does help that it has the indoor dining experience, a sit down at a table with a waiter/waitress.

Great service and real good food. Love the free appetizers that comes with the 2 for one deals. Especially the Spinach dip. It is very good. Steaks, Chicken and pasta dishes are very good.

We were shopping, but had noted lunch, so Applebee's seemed like the place to go. Unfortunately, we did not see the notice as we entered that the fryers were down. That severely limited the choices.
