This compact museum is authentic and beautiful on the inside. Well placed displays. I was originally in the menu to give the opening lecture on fishing for the fish 4 a cure tournament. this area has a lot of Waterman heritage and it is important for locals and visitors to see how important these hard working folks are to our history here.

Little informative museum in Eastport with beautiful dock out back open to the public. Nice place to sit on a pretty day or walk the dog. Also go to the sock burning festival here in April!

The Museum operates from a waterside campus on the shores of Back Creek, kids learning about oysters with unequaled views of the Chesapeake Bay. The Museum campus is the site of McNasby Oyster Packing company.
