My 8 yr old lab had cataracts as a result of diabetes. The local veterinary opthamologist wanted $4,000 for the surgery plus an additional $550+ for preoperative screening. The cost at Animal Eye Care was 50% less. The staff were very professional and caring. The after care was on a par with the surgery. I would whole heartedly recommend Animal Eye Care without reservation.
I rescue dogs and it saddens me that Animal Eye Care seems to wants to nickle and dime us. Won't waive consultion fees which are several hundred dollars. Does anyone know if they apply those fees to the surgery? That might make me change my mind a bit.
