very disgusted!!

I am angry!! After reading the other reviews on this site i was fully expecting a nice family owned friendly restaurant. Quite the opposite to be honest. We are a new family to Hampton Roads/ Hampton to be specific due to a military move. We were looking for a good wholesome restaurant to kind of make our own place to go eat and relax with our kids. When we first went in it was nice enough, I guess but my youngest child, my daughter who is 7 had to use the bathroom. So I took her. When I opened the bathroom door with my daughter right in front of me we walked in on a woman in the bathroom and she was definately doing something illegal and something she knew she would get in trouble for. Her face said it all. She had a needle in her hand and something tied around her arm. Now I am no dummy but my daughter didn't have a clue. I immediately turned around and dragged my daughter back to our table to discuss our next move with my husband. The whole time my daughter asking me why she was not allowed to use the bathroom. I was enraged!! To say the least we asked to speak with the owner or manager and got the run around of excuses and they were not there at the time or stepped out for a moment. We sat at the table and watched the same woman come from the bathroom and go to the kitchen part of the restaurant, leaving us with one conclusion that this person that was putting drugs in her arm worked in this place we were about to eat food being prepared by her or god knows what. I almost wanted to explain it away that maybe she had diabetes but one look at her and you were left with no question as to what type of drugs she was injecting, just the exact name we did not know or care to find out. Finally we left. My kids utterly disappointed. I was shocked and disgusted, but I knew I needed to say something. With numerous calls to the restaurant only to be told that the person in charge was not available. Not knowing what other steps to take I came back to this website. Hopefully in doing so I will have spoken and protected people from eating at an establishment that obviously will have any person doing anything that is cooking your and our food for us to eat. I find it absolutely disgusting!!!

Order the Andrea's pizza. It has good, inexpensive ingredients, that taste great in combination (ham, olives, tomato, artichokes, etc.). I order almost every week.

Good food and friendly people. Very reasonable prices.
