I tried to cancel my reservation because I got sick , but when I tried calling the number from the Expedia website my phone hung up. So I tried a landline and didnt even get a busy signal. Then , my friend called from her house 20 minutes away from said motel/inn and the same thing happened to her. Good thing I chose the "pay when you arrive " option and they didnt charge me.
This hotel is out of business!! Expedia should remove them from their list. (Written August 2014.)
didnt stay as when i pulled in late in the evening there is a sign on the door saying it is closed for repairs. area hotels ( which had no vacancies) told me that the amsterdam inn has been closed since june .
Hotel is now closed. The building was sold. Maybe another hotel? Who knows.
Signage lack made it a bit tricky to find, but once we got there, the friendly staff and SPOTLESS room won us over for sure. Looks as if there is some updating and renovation (much needed) going on, so maybe only part of the place is actually open for guests, but we were very pleased.
