American Theatre

Built in the year 1908, American Theatre originally featured as a high class theater for motion pictures and vaudeville performances. Located in the historic Phoebus area of the Peninsula, this theater offers a wide variety of artistic programs. From Grammy-nominated guitarist Sharon Isbin to a musical concert celebrating Virginia-native Patsy Cline's songs, this theater offers dance, jazz and a classical series.
