I thought the whole area was the Tredegar Iron Works, but the building to the left is a park (free), and the building to the right is the Tredegar Iron Works (fee, but I bundled my ticket with the White House Museum) The American Civil War Center is full of history, the movies very informative, and lots to see on...

For history buffs, this is an interesting site, located in the south, perhaps with a different pice of historical lore.

People were very helpful. Thought it was well worth the $6.00 senior rate. Couple of videos are worth taking time for. No places to eat. A vending machine.

This museum has numerous battle flags, uniforms and Robert E Lee's cot and personal items. We enjoyed the displays, but would have liked more information about the battles, the timeline, some videos and more background on some items. The artifacts are very interesting so I would still recommend the museum, but the museum would definitely benefit from an upgrade.
