We have been a customer for ten+ years, paying extra for ""backdoor"" service as our HOA does not allow cans at the street. Suddenly our trash is no longer being picked up, so I called, and after being put on hold for over a half hour we are told our cans were not at the curb. I explained they never have been they are in the same place since day one. After going around and around, they said they would send over a ""courtesy pickup"". I said I didnt want a courtesy, I want my trash picked up as I am paying for. Three days later they pickup. Next collection day, same thing. They say cans...
If you are complaining about your trash getting picked up before the set time put the trash can out the night before...how hard of a problem is that to solve? Lets use our brains people.
The management personally brought out my can before my scheduled pick up when it did not arrive as scheduled. My trash pick up has never been missed since the first pick up. When I call with questions, the service is friendly and all questions are answered. I have had this service for over a year. I am pleased with Allied Waste....glad I picked them!
Working an unusual schedule makes it completely inconvenient in trying to find a reliable waste disposal company. Most will claim that if you put your bin to the curb by 6:00AM that it will be collected the same day, but I have yet to find a company that can honor this assertion. In reality, you sign on to the company, put your bin out at 6:00AM and most days of the week find that the truck came through your neighborhood at an earlier time. You call ""customer service"" (they utilize this term VERY loosely) and the representative simply states that you have to actually put your bin out...
