I am writing because I want everyone to know that All Tune and Lube is a shady business. I will never go back after the experience I had. I brought my 2006 Honda Civic for an oil change. I recently moved to Maryland and with my schedule I needed something quick. My car has always serviced by a Honda Dealer and has had every necessary service performed by a certified Honda dealer. I was nervous about taking my car to anyone else, but the hours I was working made it very hard to get to a dealer. I figured for a one time oil change I would just go to a place down the road.
We received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change for All Tune and Lube and I figured I might as well try it out since money is tight when you first move to a new state. When I brought the coupon to the counter the man glanced at it and asked who the name on the coupon was (meaning who it was addressed to, which happened to be my fiance standing next to me). I told him it was my fiance. He said he can't use it because it doesn't have my name on it. I told him that it is my address, and it's on my drivers license. He said it is not transferable. I pointed to the bottom where all the disclaimers are located and said it says no where on here that it is non-transferable, it only says one per household. This is my household and we are only using it once. He responded, well I'm not supposed to but I will let you use it.
I was told an hour, but I wasn't going to wait so I came back a little over an hour later. I walked in and the man at the counter said "Oh, I just tried calling you." Apparently, my car was not finished, in fact he wanted to bring me to the garage to see something.
I went in the back with my fiance and he was bragging about what a wonderful facility they have and that they have everything that a full service place has. He told me I had gas in my oil filter and wanted me to smell it... now I do not look like a person that knows a lot about cars and I had no clue what he was talking about, but there was no way I was going to inhale gas and oil. He shoved it in my fiance's face to smell. My fiance knows enough about cars that I wasn't worried, in fact he was supposed to do the oil change for me!
Then the guy shows me the work form with a bunch of things circled. He claimed my perfectly serviced car needed over $600 worth of work including a full engine flush, fuel injection service, throttle body service, full radiator flush and a transmission filter. I told him I didn't need any of it done. He gave me a look like I had no clue what I was talking about and tried to warn me of all the bad things that would happen to my car if I didn't have these things fixed.
By this time I knew he trying to screw me over. I never told him how well I took care of my car, so he had no idea that I knew he was full of it. I told him it was crazy and to just finish my car. He seemed offended that I would belittle his "expertise",. I should have just taken my car elsewhere, but I was not thinking clearly at the time.
I will never go back to this place or any of there other locations. I would recommend everyone else stays away from these shady people too!
outstanding service. These guys are one of the few automotive places that will give you an honest opinion and won't try to just get your money. They are always courteous and do whatever they can to help. Any service I need, this is the first place I go.

walked to All Tune & Lube. I arrived there around 2:30 - 2:45ish.
Not 3:30-3:45ish. I spent from 11:15 AM to 4:15ish PM on a Saturday just to get an oil change for my car!
