Please be careful, homeowners! This guy deserted his All Area Roofing business when he realized that he couldn't keep robbing one customer to pay for another's materials. He consistently lies to homeowners and promises to be there on a certain date and time. He won't show and won't even call to let them know. He hires subcontractors and then refuses to pay them. He uses his employees as personal assistants and refuses to pay them for their time. He is a known DRUG USER. He spends his corporation's money on drugs and then runs off and lets his customers wonder if he'll ever be back. BEWARE - He is still in the Virginia Beach area trying to sell roofing and other home improvement jobs. He might not use the All Area Roofing name anymore but he's still a crook.
Frank Sarpino, the owner of the company, gave an estimate that seem very fair and good price. He was very nice and cordial for the first couple time. He was supposed to the roof and the kitchen. He took three months to finish the roof and kept pushing the kitchen day around. He wasted my time. Never answer my phone calls and kept 13000 down payment for my kitchen. He told me to go pick my cabinets and now he is saying that the kitchen is going to be more money if I wanted done. I am currently talking to my lawyer to solve the problem. He is a liar and four of his worker told me that he was not paying them. He started with this contract January 2013 and it is August now and our kitchen never start it. If I was you and I was going to hire this person I will really check all the horrible reports. I didn't know about it. I wish someone told me earlier.
All-Area roofing has been essentially out of business since October 2013. My understanding is that they relinquished their license to the state after numerous complaints. No listing on Angie's List (was a "D" at one point) and no record on the BBB.
