AWESOME, SOME OF THE BEST FOOD THAT I EVER HAD, AND THE SERVICE WAS
OUTSTANDING, OUR WATIER WILSON, REALLY TOOK CARE OF US, HE EXPLA
INED HOW THE SPECIALS WERE PREPARED, AND ALSO DISCRIBED SOME OF THE MENU ITEMS WE ASKED ABOUT. Excellent decor, and atmosphere and beautiful location right on the bay with magnificent view of the
Chesapeake bay bridge and bay.
It's a little hard to find because it's back in the chicks beach neighborhood. Make the effort to find it! IF you are looking for the best restaurant in Virginia Beach, you have found it at Alexanders, You will surely enjoy the experience.
We were very disappointed! The service was slow and the food was definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend it to anyone!
Food was excellant, service was good, view was wonderful. Not a bad seat in the house. Would recommend.
My fiance' commented that the food I cook at home tastes better, and I am no pro. Nothing exciting about the meal at all, and for the price, I would think it would have been more memorable and tasty. The she crab soup was the best part of the dinner and was very good. The atmosphere was nice, but it was so quiet in the restaurant, we had to whisper because we felt if we were talking at a normal tone we were screaming.
The Scene
Simple elegance. The dining room is bright and open, with soft jazz wafting in the air. The walls are nearly unadorned, but huge windows offer a stunning look at the...
There was an article in the local paper in early December, 2013 that the restaurant has closed for good. The owner said they could never rebuild the customer level after they repaired the place after a devastating storm. With the poor quality of the food the two times we ate there after they reopened, it's no wonder they couldn't get...
WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! Valet parking (mandatory) drove my car thirty feet. Rolls were burnt, house salad was ok. $25 fish that was a pre frozen filet of mush and tasted like water and cumin when it was supposed to have white truffle oil on it. It didn't. When we explained that the $25 entree tasted like...
I just returned from a disappointing experience tonight. My family expected a nice evening meal to celebrate a birthday but instead received rude service. The waitress was awful! Pushy and a bit gruff-I really think she needs to retire because she wasn't what you would expect in a nicer dining facility. She pulled the plates off the table before everyone...
My husband and I liked it. I am 51 years old and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There weren't any kids which is fine with us. It was a quiet, peaceful, atmosphere. The food was great. I had the fried seafood plate. The crab cake was more crab than cake. I felt as though the prices were in...
I tried to book a reservation several times. Never got called back. Owner refused to honor Groupon and basically called me a liar because she "calls everyone back". You'll never get a dime from us.
