Our cabin was on an overlook into the water. Our first day there, in fact as we arrived, we saw whales out in the water as we were standing on our deck. The next day, we saw an eagle perched in a tree about 200 yards from our deck. I rented a cabin for a week and it was perfect. The view alone makes it worth it, but on top of that the cabin was beautiful, clean, comfy, and the owner was great. A real treat.
