Air Conditioning Specialists is family-owned and operated and has been providing heating and AC repair services to the Greater Austin TX area since 1972. We’re committed to providing all our residential and commercial customers with honest, courteous and professional service.

We care about the environment, so our service technicians are EPA-certified for refrigerant recovery. To stay on top of current HVAC technology, we provide our technicians with ongoing training and continuing education. We are also a registered contractor with the City of Austin Home Performance with Energy Star and specialize in Trane air conditioning repair.

We are licensed by the State of Texas (license # TACLA000820E) and insured for up to $2,000,000 in liability and workers compensation.

Service Hours: 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday-Friday (regular rate)
8 AM to 12 PM, Saturday (regular rate)
Overtime Rates: Monday-Friday after 7 PM
All day Saturday, Sunday and Holidays

Great service before and after install

I had a dual system set up in my house installed by AC Specialists and they did an excellent job of getting the systems in quickly and installed perfectly. I have had two occasions where I had to call about the units, the first was diagnosed over the phone with them as a blown fuse so I had my system back up and running quickly. The second was caused by a power surge at my house and once again the people I talked to were courteous and honest about when parts would be available for my unit. Everything was covered under my warranty and repaired as quickly as they could get the part. This...
