Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Addis Ababa features a nightclub-like setting and outdoor rooftop eating upstairs and a more conventional dining room and bar downstairs. The food, authentic décor and reasonable prices make this a popular neighborhood destination. We loved the spongy injera bread used for wrapping up the very peppery doro wat, or chicken stew, and the yebeg tibs, a luscious lamb stew with an undercurrent of...

This was the first time we have been to an etheopian restaurant. The food was good and different from other countries. Glad I ate there.

The food and service at this downtown Silver Spring restaurant were excellent. A little slow to order and get food. Otherwise all was great!

The waitress was very helpful in helping our group of friends select our food, and told us about the honey wine bottle special when several of us ordered glasses. The food was wonderful, ambiance was exotic and comfortable. Noise level was a little high, but we were able to converse without shouting. I enjoyed everything so much, I plan on bringing my family.

This was a great place to bring together a large group (20+) to celebrate. The management and the staff were lovely, the food was fresh and tasty and good for group sharing. I've had a lot of Ethiopian food in my day, and I'd say the food here was very good, lots of variety and rich flavors. Recommended!
