I have now had two experiences with A&W automotive. I have 2 children at school at Auburn so feel somewhat vulnerable send them somewhere I don’t know. On the recommendation of a friend, I send their car there for a clutch cable issue. A&W let me have my choice of cables dropped shipped directly to them to save cost. If I could give zero stars, I would. I heard several horrible reviews about them, but took my vehicle there anyway. HUGE mistake. Five trips, $4000 later, my vehicle is still messed up. Every visit was more expensive than the last. They would not give us estimates, fixed the vehicle without approval, and replaced things that did not need replacing, just to rack up a hefty $$$. I will NEVER use...

Just wanted to let everyone know that this is a great place to take your car/truck for transmission services. I went to Firestone and they refused to work on my transmission because they said that it was a "touchy" transmission and they didn't want to pay for the transmission if it went out on me.
