I've used ABC Health Care for several years for sleep equipment and a few pieces of DME. They were great!!! The set-up people were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. My insurance was difficult to deal with for me but they were able to get through no problem. I actually met the owner at my church and he was awesome. Very smart and interested in my experience with ABC. He later called me to say thanks for the feedback. I won't use anyone else!!!
ABC Healthcare is a horrible company. I worked for the company for 2 1/2 years. In my time there I had a fellow employee call me "n*gger". I was subjected to comments about Klan meetings. I was called "Mr. Bojangles". I was subjected to my fellow employees calling African americans "monkeys and gorillas". I was intentionally lied to by management constantly. Their was a concerted effort by management to pay less to African American workers. There was also a plan put in place to rig the evaluation process so African American workers could not get raises. After filing with the EEOC about these practices, they tried to sweep it under the rug by giving me $2 pay increase to try to make up for the discrimination. They also hired a few more African American faces to make it seem like they were not discriminating. They still use these tactics and implement two disciplinary systems, one much much harsher for African American employees. Use another DME company in your area.
