AAMCO replaced my transmission. The transmission is okay, but it still feels not quite 100%. It should feel like a completely replaced transmission. It was expensive and went over what they quoted me. Time will tell to see if I have a problem with it before or after the warranty.

Aamco got my vehicle back on time when they said they were going to. They did a timing belt change along with the water pump and everything that comes with that. They have also done a heat sensor for me in only about an hour, hour and a half. Aamco has been really good to me and their prices are comparable. They were very personable, friendly, and courteous. I have been using Aamco on Morena for a couple of years for my 2006 Avalanche. They always do a good job and repairs are timely. They often troubleshoot problems, and I can do some of the work myself. Always helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an all around good experience with AAMCO Mission Bay. I needed a new starter put in, and they gave me a good deal at a fair price. The starter they first put in was bad, but they fixed it for free really quickly. John was a super cool guy -- very nice and helpful. My experience with AAMCO was the best I've had with an auto shop.
