DC's Most Popular nightspot and "a legendary venue for musicians and fans alike", this "intimate" U Street Corridor club has been a "fixture for more than 30 years", luring everyone from "hipsters to yuppies to Goth punk college kids" with "artists from every genre"; a "terrific sound system", "good sight lines" and "space to dance" outshine the "slightly gritty" ambiance, and if the...

I frequented this place many many years ago and saw some awesome bands!
I would also to go to their happy hours many many years ago.
I have not been to the new location.

Great vibe - awesome concert venue with a lot of history so "cool is sort of built in.
Beer selection is fine, nothing amazing. Service is above average for a concert venue.
Food is better than a typical concert hall but still nothing fantastic. Service is a high point. That the bar upstairs stays open after the show instead of kicking everyone out is also a huge plus.

Nice space for a concert. They sell drinks and food. Good thing too, because there's nothing in this part of town. I would go again, they bring in some good bands.
