Many museum quality pieces in a small, but original setting. This house once served as a free hospital for everyone in Richmond. All items used in the hospital were donated to care for the poor. Many Richmond specific artifacts on display. Today there is a nice garden that is often used for social events.

This museum is dedicated to the history of Richmond and the exhibits or art and artifacts are beautiful, with interesting tidbits of history to read. The museum also includes the Wickham House, a showplace of neoclassical architectural. We also loved the sculptures created by Edward Valentine, brother of Mann Valentine who created the museum.
